Ron Vallely
Ron Vallely's history as a senior business executive in
the Staffing Profession is definitely a track record that
is nothing less than a string of successes. From 1981-1983,
Ron worked for Tech Aid, where within the first 6 months,
he was the top "search biller" in the company. From 1983-1998,
Ron worked his way to becoming the President of Sullivan &
Cogliano (a Massachusetts area company), which, during his
tenure, grew to a 50M dollar staffing practice. During that
time, he also founded Global Search Practice that recorded
the highest fee in the company's history - a 1M dollar fee!
In 1998, Ron became a founding partner of VHI, LLC. With
VHI, he has had numerous assignments with contract companies
in IT, Telecommunications, and Nursing. Included were
companies from start-ups to large, established organizations
in capacities from COO to M&A.
His most recent undertaking is that of President of DCRI's
prestigious direct or permanent division, M.A.G.I.C.,
industry leaders in IT, Engineering and BioPharm staffing.
Prior to his role as President of M.A.G.I.C., Ron was Vice
President of DCRI's Contract Division, Mountain, Ltd. In his
role as Vice President of Mountain, Ltd., Ron and Mountain's
President, Joe Hosmer, took on the task of becoming more
profitable in a year where the economy has been shaky, at best.
Ron has had extensive leadership roles and hands-on experience
in growing revenues and profitability, building effective
management teams, fostering exemplary customer service, all
while inspiring high-intensity, entrepreneurial environments,
with an atmosphere of enthusiasm and common business sense.
Vallely is considered one of the leading experts in trends
related to niche business in this industry.
Ron Vallely, CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) has served
on the NAPS Board of Directors for six years in various roles
including district director and vice chairman, before becoming
this year's Chairman. He also served as the 1998 NAPS
conference chairman in New York City, one of the most
exciting and profitable conventions in NAPS history. Prior
to these National roles, he served as president of the
Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services; and served
as 1996 conference chairman for the New England Association
of Personnel Services' annual regional conference, which
broke all New England attendance records.
In 2001, Ron Vallely, CPC, was elected to the National
Association of Personnel Services "Hall of Fame," one of
only 9 individuals in the United State to hold this
prestigious honor.
Before joining the staffing industry in 1980, Mr. Vallely
was a national concert promoter for bands including The
Eagles, Aerosmith, ELO, Bruce Springsteen, Ike and Tina
Turner, Heart, George Benson, Arthur Fiedler, the Boston
Pops and Tony Bennett.
Ron Vallely resides in Framingham, MA, with his wife,
Paula, 14 year daughter, Danielle and 8 year old son,
Jonathan.
